Wanda Group convened its project subsidiaries to review their sales target status for the first half of the year at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Quanzhou, Fujian Province on July 14.

The North and South project management centers of Wanda Commercial Properties Co Ltd and Wanda Culture Industry Group’s project management center reported their sales figures and payment collection status for June and the first half of the year.

Wanda Group President Ding Benxi praised the project management centers for meeting their targets. He reiterated the importance of leveraging monthly sales assessment meetings to learn and apply new knowledge.

Ding urged the project management centers to implement instructions made by Wanda Group Chairman Wang Jianlin at the semi-annual work conference held on July 13.

He demanded each center put sales targets as first priority and do their utmost to fulfill sales targets.

"Although the economy is slowing down, we should have confidence in the market competition and ensure our steady development,” said Ding: "You should be well prepared, improve management and operations, promote product quality, and deliver quality projects."

A fairer and clearer sales assessment reward and reprimanding system is currently under development, he added.
